Congratulations to Seniors Sara Jonas and Alex Abrudan on being named Scholars of the Month!

 

Sara perfectly embodies what it means to be a true student-athlete. Dominating both on the field and in the classroom, she anchors the girls’ soccer team’s defense at center back—holding down one of the most demanding positions on the pitch and routinely shutting down the opposition’s top offensive threats. Her exceptional leadership skills, deep knowledge of the game, and commitment to her teammates earned her the role of team captain. With an incredible 4.7 GPA and a work ethic that inspires everyone around her, Sara is a massive reason the team continues to improve and excel every single day.

Alex is absolutely crushing his goals both on the cross country course and in the classroom.

Talk about pacing yourself for success—Alex recently shattered his previous record, dropping an incredible 2 minutes off his 5K time on the exact same course from last year! 

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, he is maintaining a phenomenal 4.47 GPA. Alex’s work ethic, determination, and drive to improve set a massive example for the entire program.
